Intra Community Trust Recruiting Project Manager
Intra Community Trust is seeking a part-time Project Manager to support the development and delivery of the charity’s projects and programs. This role is part-time (0.5 FTE) and permanent, with flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend working.
The position is home-based in the Medway Towns, but the Project Manager should ideally be a resident of Medway, as the role requires frequent in-person meetings and a deep understanding of the locality.
The salary is £30,000 per annum pro rata.
The start date is planned for November/December 2025.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for a flexible team of freelancers, including artists and creatives. The Executive Director will provide support during the induction period. The responsibilities of the role fall into several key areas:
Project Management
- Planning and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring all goals are met.
- Coordinating with stakeholders like artists and music producers to define project requirements.
- Developing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Managing project and programme budgets.
- Managing specific programmes such as Pride Fringe, Intra Christmas, and Blooming Intra.
- Managing Greening and Regeneration projects in collaboration with Medway Council.
- Sourcing freelance contractors and artists for projects.
Member and Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinating and taking minutes for meetings, including monthly members meetings, quarterly Board meetings and other specific group meetings.
- Circulating urgent information and opportunities to the ICT member database.
- Representing the ICT at local meetings, such as the Rochester City Centre Forum and Chatham Town Centre Forum.
- Coordinating voting on decisions and sharing the results.
Fundraising and Donor Stewardship
- Assisting in preparing reports for funders like the Architectural Heritage Fund.
- Writing funding bids for smaller amounts and supporting the Executive Director on larger applications.
Communications
- Managing the ICT’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Maintaining the ICT website by uploading content and sharing relevant local projects.
